Appointments

Please ring me in the first instance to have a chat about what hypnosis is and how hypnotherapy may be able to help you. There are many misconceptions about hypnosis so it can be helpful to have a verbal conversation about this rather than read long explanations about what hypnosis is and what it is not. It will suffice to say for now:

• The client is always in control
• The hypnotherapist cannot make the client do anything they do not want to do
• The client can come out of trance at any time if they wish to do so
• All hypnosis is self-hypnosis
• The client is always fully aware of what is going on; they are not asleep.

After an initial telephone conversation if you would like to try hypnosis then an appointment will be made for you. The first session will take approximately one and a half hours (the first half hour being for assessment and will be FREE OF CHARGE).

Hypnotherapy sessions will last either 60, 75 or 90 minutes – depending on the individual treatment plan developed for the client. Past Life Regression sessions (for interest only) can take up to 1.25 hours. A one-off Smoking Cessation session lasts 2 hours.

Hypnosis for Relaxation sessions (1 hour) can be booked for individuals, pairs, trios or larger group sessions.

The duration of hypnotherapy sessions for a child or young person is dependant on the age of the client and their treatment plan. Please ring me for more information about this.

I try to be as flexible as possible but generally offer appointments during the daytime (up to 18.00) and at weekends. As my work takes me to different locations around the UK please ring me to find out where I shall be working during the forthcoming week/month. It is always fine to ring me in the evening (up to 20.00) or at the weekend (up to 17.00) on my mobile (07850 045929) if that is more convenient for you. If I am with a client I shall always ring you back as soon as possible.
